Head of Sales
The Head of Sales will be responsible for overseeing all sales operations, developing and implementing sales strategies, and leading the sales team to achieve business targets. This role requires significant experience in sales management, with a strong preference for candidates who have a background in the agency and/or staffing industry and established connections in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership and Strategy Development:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with the company's objectives.
Lead and scale the sales operations to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Analyze market trends and sales performance to forecast future sales and set performance goals.
Team Management and Development:
Lead, mentor, and expand the sales team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
Foster a competitive and accountable sales environment by setting clear sales targets and incentives.
Operational Excellence:
Streamline sales processes and operations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement best practices in sales techniques, tools, and software that enhance the sales cycle.
Client Relations and Business Development:
Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
Identify new business opportunities and lead negotiations to secure lucrative deals.
Industry Knowledge and Networking:
Utilize knowledge of the agency and/or staffing industry to enhance sales strategies and initiatives.
Leverage existing connections within the agency and/or staffing industry to expand market presence and achieve sales targets.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in sales, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior sales leadership role.
Proven track record of leading sales teams and operations, ideally within the staffing industry.
Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and experience in managing the full sales lifecycle.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the staffing or agency industry with established connections.
Advanced degree in business or related fields.
Experience in international sales and market expansion.
