Bubty offers via various platforms, app, SMS, web the possibility for employers to manage freelancers in one central place through the bubty.com SaaS (“the B2B Service”). In the context of the B2B Service, Bubty acts as a data processor within the meaning of European Union data protection laws and relies on the documented instructions of our clients who are the data controllers. This privacy statement does not apply to the B2B Service except for in relation to our use of cookies – if you need any information about other processing activities in relation to the B2B Service, please contact our customer who has asked you to create an account with us.
This privacy statement applies to the activities on our website and in any case in relation to our use of cookies regardless of whether you are a website visitor, freelancer, or representative of one of our customers. It also applies when you as a freelancer manage your own page, not affiliated with one of our corporate clients, which makes it easier to get in touch with potential clients.
What personal data is collected?
We need certain personal data to provide you with the best possible user experience and to inform you about our products and services. You provide us with some of this information directly, for example when you send an inquiry to us. In addition, we receive certain personal data indirectly via the devices you use for Bubty, through interaction with our services (including via cookies). Where are your personal data processed?

How long do we keep your personal data?
We only keep personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or used and/or as long as required by law.
If you do not use your account for 18 months, we will mark it as 'inactive' in our database. In that case, we no longer actively use this account information, for example to inform you about our products and services. Your account will be archived so that you can reactivate it at any time should you wish to use our services again in the future.
If you want to cancel your account, we ask you to contact our customer service. After cancellation, we will delete your personal data without undue delay, with the exception of the information that we are legally obliged to keep. For example, we are legally obliged to keep data such as copies of invoices for seven years.
