Your privacy is important to us at Bubty. We only use your personal data to manage your account, to provide you with our products and services and to inform you about our products and services, to the extent that you have given us permission to do so. Bubty offers you via various platforms, app, SMS, web the possibility to manage all your freelancers in one central place or for you as a freelancer to manage your own page, which makes it easier to get in touch with potential clients. This privacy statement applies to these services and the related platforms.
What personal data is collected?
We need certain personal data to provide you with the best possible user experience and to inform you about our products and services. You provide us with some of this information directly, for example when you create an account. In addition, we receive certain personal data indirectly via the devices you use for Bubty, through interaction with our services (including via cookies). This allows us to personalize our products and improve the customer experience.
When you create an account with Bubty, or use our services in any other way, we process the following data:
- First and last name;
- Salutation (Mr./Mrs. etc.);
- E-mail address;
- Telephone number;
- Location data;
- IP address;
- Phone ID;
- Payment and billing information, such as bank account number;
- Company name (if applicable);
- Company Registration Number (if applicable).

Device and location
If you have activated this function in your phone and/or app settings, we receive data about your location. We use this information to better facilitate you in terms of language and country. How do we use your personal data?

Where are your personal data processed?
For hosting and maintenance, your personal data is stored in the European Union. Your personal data is mainly processed by our staff at our head office in the Netherlands.
Insofar as we transfer personal data to a country outside the European Union or an international organization, we ensure that this only happens to those countries and organizations that guarantee an appropriate protection of your data and rights in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). , or if otherwise permitted under the GDPR.

How long do we keep your personal data?
We only keep personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or used and/or as long as required by law.
If you do not use your account for 18 months, we will mark it as ‘inactive’ in our database. In that case, we no longer actively use this account information, for example to inform you about our products and services. Your account will be archived so that you can reactivate it at any time should you wish to use our services again in the future.
If you want to cancel your account, we ask you to contact our customer service. After cancellation, we will delete your personal data without undue delay, with the exception of the information that we are legally obliged to keep. For example, we are legally obliged to keep data such as copies of invoices for seven years.
Data can also be kept longer when it contributes to development and product improvement.

Legal basis for data processing
