As we continue to grow and enhance our technology offerings, we are looking for a dedicated QA Engineer to join our team and help maintain the high quality of our software products.
Job Summary: The QA Engineer at Bubty will be responsible for developing and executing exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality. This role involves designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. The QA Engineer will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g., defect densities and open defect counts.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution:

  • Review and analyze system specifications to develop effective test plans and scenarios.

  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.

  • Evaluate product code according to specifications.

• Quality Assurance:

  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects.

  • Report bugs and errors to development teams.

  • Help troubleshoot issues and conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing.

• Process Improvement:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Continuously improve the QA testing process and methodology to enhance production efficiency and quality.

• Automation and Tooling:

  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.

  • Implement and maintain automation tools and frameworks.

• Documentation:

  • Develop standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.

  • Document, prioritize, and track bugs, as well as enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role.

• Experience in QA methodology and tools.

• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors.

• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Zephyr) and SQL.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to achieving high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.

• Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, or PHP.
